I put together a playlist on my itouch of all past hits being covered by somebody else. There are about 30 tunes on it and I think I enjoy that about as much as any playlist I have. If you’ve not heard Ray Charles sing “Over The Rainbow” or Linda Ronstadt sing “Desperado” ….

The Great Mac Bailout
I have been a Mac user since sometime in 2002. I had switched jobs, the new shop was 100% mac on the desktop, with one glaring exception: my predecessor. The server side was a mix of mac, Windows and Linux, and my programming (initially) was classic ASP.
In no time I had already switched to a 12” iBook 600, a fantastic piece of gear that I will never forget.

Crackberry! I ditched my iPhone 3G for a Blackberry 8900 and I couldn’t be any happier. And I am switching Ivette’s iPhone to another 8900 next week. For the kind of money that AT&T costs us we might as well have phones that work with the network.

I really hope this is true because it will mean a mass exodus of AT&T customers that either have iPhones already or want one.
I am an AT&T customer, and I ditched one of my iPhones (for a Blackberry 8900, which I adore) because of the bad network performance, and I am about to ditch Ivette’s iPhone too for the same reason. And yes, Blackberry for her too.
